Welcome to my Post-Stroke Recovery blog. In March 2024, I had an ischemic cerebellar stroke, which affected my body and eye movements, my balance, short-term memory, and divided attention. I completed therapy in August 2024. Now I’m maintaining my therapy exercises at home and applying what I’ve learned to maintain my improved stroke symptoms and to prevent another stroke from occurring. The cause has been a mystery until I took a sleep apnea test in April 2024, and it was found that I had severe obstructive sleep apnea, which is the most likely cause of my stroke. I started CPAP treatment in September 2024. I hope my blog reaches and helps others.
